Our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic provides a full range of OB/Gyn services to meet the health needs of mothers, providing them with the highest expertise recognized internationally. Maternity services were started in Mengo over 100yrs ago by Sir Albert Cook. To date it is one of the most active departments in the Hospital. We do almost 6000 deliveries every year. The department consists of a general ward (Mpereza) and a private ward Annie walker East plus a newborn unit. The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department provides a full range of obstetric and gynaecologic care for women throughout every stage of their life.
