Stores Officer (02)

Major Responsibilities

  1. Receive and take charge of goods ordered and stored in the store.
  2. Check quality and quantity of goods supplied against specifications.
  3. Issue goods as per authorized requisitions and stores procedures.
  4. Record issues and stock balances, maintaining stores records.
  5. Maintain optimum stock levels and manage the re-stocking process.
  6. Follow up with the procurement unit to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
  7. Ensure the store is well-maintained in terms of cleanliness, health, safety, security, and order.
  8. Arrange for stock taking.
  9. Facilitate inspection of stores by auditors and other authorized persons.
  10. Prepare and submit periodic reports as required.

Experience

  • Three (3) years of continuous work in a similar position.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to plan.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Integrity.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Professional Degree/Certification

  • Minimum Diploma in Procurement, Logistics and Inventory Management, Stores Management, or related field.
