Risk & Compliance Officer
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Risk Identification and Assessment.
Proactively identifying potential risks including financial, operational, legal and reputational risk across the Hospital. - Compliance Monitoring.
Ensures the Hospital adheres to all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies. - Policy Development and Implementation.
Developing and implementing risk management and compliance frameworks, policies and procedures. - Risk Mitigation
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure compliance. - Auditing and Monitoring
Conducting regular audits and monitoring activities to assess the effectiveness of risk management and compliance programs. - Reporting and Communication
Reporting on compliance issues, risk assessments and mitigation efforts to management and other relevant stakeholders. - Training & Development.
Providing training and guidance to employees on risk management and compliance matters. - Staying Updated
Keeping abreast of changes in regulations and industry best practice to ensure the Hospital’s risk management and compliance practices remain current and effective.
SKILLS
- Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti- Money Laundering or AML)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

PROFESSIONAL DEGREE / CERTIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration or a related field.
- Professional Certification - Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is a plus.
