Mengo Hospital is a Church of Uganda Missionary founded Hospital and Private Not-For Profit (PNFP). It is categorized as a General Hospital, but operationally a Referral Hospital. The Missionary Hospital developed into the present-day 300-bed hospital, spread over 22 acres of land at Namirembe Hill in Kampala.
Mengo Hospital seeks to recruit suitably qualified person to fill 2 vacant Managerial positions based at Mengo Hospital Kampala as indicated below, on full time, 3 years' renewable contracts
Job Title: Ict Manager (1)
Reports To: Deputy Medical Director-Administrative Support Services
Job Summary:
As the overall head of the ICT department at Mengo Hospital, accomplishes ICT staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, coordinating, reporting and enforcing systems, policies and procedures aimed at maintaining and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the ICT Strategic plan.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's in ICT or IT or related course is an added advantage.
- Professional certification in hardware or software discipline is an added advantage.
- At least (5) five years demonstrated technical experience in Managing ICT in a big organization.
- Ability to lead a team towards achievement of the ICT Strategic plan.
