Kabaka’s Birthday Run 2025
Men for Good Health to Save the Girl Child
Mengo Hospital proudly joined the Kabaka Birthday Run 2025, standing in solidarity with the Buganda Kingdom and thousands of Ugandans to promote this year’s theme: “Men for Good Health to Save the Girl Child.” The event not only amplified the call to end AIDS by 2030 but also emphasized the vital role of men in safeguarding the health and future of girls and women across the country.
In its ongoing commitment to public health and community wellness, Mengo Hospital contributed two fully equipped ambulances to provide first aid and emergency care during the run. Our medical team was on the ground to ensure safety and swift response throughout the event.
The hospital also supported a large team of staff to participate in the run, reinforcing our values of community engagement, health advocacy, and gender-sensitive care.
By taking part in initiatives like the Kabaka Birthday Run, Mengo Hospital continues to champion causes that uplift the communities we serve, with a focus on prevention, awareness, and compassionate healthcare.
