Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department

Over 100 years ago, maternity services were started at Mengo Hospital by Sir Dr. Albert Cook. Since then, the department has grown to cater to a wide range of OB/GYN services to meet the growing needs of a diverse population. The department consists of a general ward (Mpereza), a private ward (Annie Walker East), and a newborn unit.
